The Lion’s Whiskers

KidsArts - Based on an Ethiopian folktale, The Lion’s Whiskers tells the story of a lonely young woman. A Wise Man tells her to pluck three whiskers from a lion to solve her problems. In the end she finds success using her wits, wisdom and patience. This Catskill Puppet Theater production features masks and puppets of all sizes and is highlighted with shadow puppets and original songs and features a charming cast of African animals as well as human characters. Recommended for age 8 and under. $6 tickets, $2 lap child under 2 years.
