Lawry's The Prime Rib is hosting an exclusive Meritage Blending Seminar with wines made from the Franciscan vineyard. Lawry's will be blending its own Meritage red wine, allowing guests to taste its true perfection of Franciscan Magnificat. Following the seminar, Lawry's Executive Chef Matt Melton and his culinary team will prepare a three-course palate pleasing dinner. Featured menu items and wine pairings include:

Ø Passed hors d' oeures with blending seminar with all Franciscan Meritage Varietals

Ø Salad of Haricots Verts with tomato tartare and chive oil with marinated frisée; 2006 Franciscan Chardonnay

Ø Sea Salt Roasted Beef Roulade filled with veal pâté on creamed ramps; 2005 Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon

Ø Baked Granny Smith Apple with fruit compote three ways; 2007 Franciscan Sauvignon Blanc
