Calling all dogs, cats and dog and cat lovers, the SPCA of Texas is issuing an open call for pet films produced by all new or established filmmakers or pet enthusiasts with an eye for cinema. Submit your short film, music video, documentary or special home video moments of your pets to the SPCA of Texas’ 2008 Pet Flix Film Festival and you could win one of several valuable prizes.
The final details of the fabulous grand prize package for the Best Overall Picture will be announced in the coming weeks and will include either a cash prize or an exciting vacation package for the winners as well as a pet vacation package from WUF Pet Resort and Spa. The Best Short Tail and Best Long Tail winners will each receive a pair of Festival Passes to the 2009 AFI DALLAS International Film Festival presented by Target, Founding Sponsor Victory Park and a night’s stay at the W DALLAS - VICTORY, compliments of the AFI DALLAS International Film Festival.
All event proceeds will benefit the programs and services of the SPCA. Sponsorships are also available.
