North Texas All American Soap Box Derby

The Plano Rotary Club is presenting its second annual North Texas All American Soap Box Derby, Saturday, June 14 on Westside Avenue near Plano High School. The Derby, called “The Greatest Amateur Racing Event in the World” having originated in 1934 in Dayton, Ohio. It is open to kids 8 to 17 years of age. The winners receive $1,500 for their trip to the World Championship.
