Co-Hosts Kim Malcolm and Darryl Dickson-Carr invite the audience inside these intimate talks on the life and art of being a writer. Ms. Malcolm is a Katy Award-winning radio broadcaster and Dr. Carr teaches African American literature at Southern Methodist University.

Kimberla Lawson Roby has written nine novels prior to Sin No More, which include Changing Faces, The Best-Kept Secret, Too Much of a Good Thing, A Taste of Reality, It’s a Thin Line, Casting the First Stone, Here and Now, and her debut title, Behind Closed Doors, which was originally self-published through her own company, Lenox Press. Her novels have frequented numerous bestseller lists, including The New York Times, Essence Magazine, Upscale Magazine, Emerge Magazine, Barnes and Noble, Amazon.com, Wal-Mart, The Dallas Morning News, and The Austin Chronicle to name a few. Behind Closed Doors was the #1 Blackboard Best-selling book for paperback fiction in 1997. Each of Ms. Roby’s novels have dealt with very real issues of consequence--- social status, gambling addiction, infidelity; single motherhood, infertility, sibling rivalry, and more. Casting the First Stone launched her Reverend Curtis Black series and began exploring corruption within the church. Sin No More is the latest installment in this very popular series.
