Close your eyes and imagine the pageantry of aristocratic Versailles as the DSO performs Ravel's tribute to the waltz. Also on the program: Steven Stucky's Pulitzer Prize--winning Concerto No. 2 for Orchestra, Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations with cellist Pieter Wispelwey, and Stravinsky's colorful and exotic Firebird Suite. Ludovic Morlot conducts.
