Dallas Wind Symphony - Dancing in the Streets

This show has the flavor of Eastern Europe: composer Kazimierz Machala will be on hand for his Concerto for Horn, Winds and Percussion; Dvorak's joyous Carnival Overture; and a beautiful statement of hope, Karel Husa's Music for Prague 1968. Then tap your toes to Bernstein's all-time classic, Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.

Fanfare: Luminescence — James Cheyne (Land O' Lakes, FL)
Antonin Dvorak — Carnival Overture
Karel Husa — Music for Prague 1968
Kazimierz Machala — Concerto for Horn, Winds and Percussion
Leonard Bernstein — Symphonic Dances from West Side Story
