Directed By: Christian Frosch
Filmed in Vienna and set in chic-but-corrupted high rise in a dystopic future, Silent Resident presents a nightmarish blend of madness and future shock.
Hannah attempts to escape her abusive husband by moving into a flat in a highly regarded complex where the last occupant committed suicide. In the process, she encounters a number of strange and secretive residents with elusive motivations, many of whom seem to be plotting with and against her. Hannah's grip on reality isn't what it used to be, either, and before long the line between what's real and what's imagination begins to blur.
Silent Resident is a mind-bending thriller that runs along the unnerving lines of J. G. Ballard, Roman Polanski, and David Lynch.
