Description
The Green Elementary PTA runs the Twin Creeks / Beacon Hill Garage Sale which is usually held in October of each year. However, due to weather and the Silent Auction being moved to October, the PTA Board has decided to move the garage sale to March. Since residents of the area are restricted by the HOA from hosting individual sales, the PTA provides this as a service to the community - and it also serves as a great fundraising opportunity! The 2008 TC/BH Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, March 29th at 8 AM.
Don't miss out on being a part of the Green Garage Sale. It is a great opportunity to make some "Mad Money" while cleaning out your house at the same time!
As time approaches, a date will be selected and announced for purchasing slots. Each slot is the size of a parking space ... so perhaps you might want two? The best part is that you don't have to pack it all up and take back home at the end of the day. We have a resale service organization that will pick up what you take to the outside of the gym beginning at noon. A portion of the proceeds they receive are donated back to the PTA later in the year.
This is a true WIN-WIN opportunity! Don't miss out!
If you are interested in cleaning out closets, the attic or the garage....but can't be a part of the garage sale, consider donating your items to the Green Scholarship Sale. It goes on during the Green Garage Sale in the school gym. Money raised goes towards college scholarships for seniors at Allen High School who attended Green Elementary School. You can drop off your donations after 3:30 on Friday, March 28th. You will also receive a tax deduction form for your donation.
We have our "Rain Day" Scheduled for the following weekend, just in case....Saturday, April 5th.
If you have any questions, please contact Diane Florschuetz at 214-495-7946.
Thank you for supporting your Green PTA!!!

The Beach Boys with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Beach Boy trivia: Though surfing was a prominent theme in many of the Beach Boys' early songs, Dennis Wilson was the only original member who surfed. "Kokomo" was the Beach Boys' first hit in 20 years and ended up being their biggest selling single. Paul McCartney once said that "God Only Knows" was the most beautiful pop song ever written.
