Enio (Leonardo Medeiros) and Pedro (Rodrigo Santoro), have never met, but their actions have powerful ramifications upon each other. Enio, a supervisor at a traffic control center, has complete mastery of his control board, but much less control over his life. Pedro, a master of the pool cue, demonstrates his skill and discipline by building hand-carved pool tables. When their worlds literally collide, their first impulse is to sink into despair. Eventually, both men must make a decision, whether to continue to lose control or seize the opportunity the situation affords.
