Organic in the City Presents Gardening with Agaves, Yuccas and more.
Learn about the wonder of the woody lily with next month’s Organic in the City. Dr. Peter Schaar will explain how agaves, yuccas and other woody lilies contribute to garden life and how to grow them on your own. Come view photographs from important gardens and gain an appreciation for these drought-tolerant plants that create the drama of hot climates.
Organic in the City is an urban environmental education and entertainment series at Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park. The program is geared toward professionals and urbanites near Downtown Dallas and surrounding areas who crave a little more ‘green’ in their lives.
