Dick’s Last Resort brings back by popular demand the original Sunday Gospel Brunch featuring Betty Lewis and the Angelics for Mother’s Day, Sunday May 11, 2008. Brunch hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, and the awesome all-you-can-eat buffet includes assorted salads, fruits, shrimp, made-from-scratch omelet and waffle stations, bourbon glazed salmon, fried chicken, crab cakes, Canadian bacon, spinach and walnut stuffed chicken, fried chicken with red-skin smashed potatoes and gravy, Southern Comfort Bread Pudding and assorted desserts and pastries, and much more for only $22.99 for adults and $6.99 for kids under 12.
Legendary Blues and Gospel singer Betty Lewis has performed from Paris, Texas to Paris, France. Along the way she entertained at numerous major festivals including New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Baton Rouge Blues Fest, International Caribbean Fest (Cancun, Mexico), and Belvedere Blues Fest (Southern Colorado). Betty’s outstanding accomplishments in music have made her the embodiment of Louisiana R&B and Gospel music.
