The Mighty Thomas Carnival, hailing from Austin, will be appearing for the second consecutive year at City Park of Lake Dallas. The carnival will be set up in a portion of the park’s parking lot along Hundley Drive May 15-18.
The Thomas Carnival will offer 13-16 rides, 15 games and food concessions. They provide customers with many comforts including shaded rest areas with benches, covering for hoses and wires, signs and instructions regarding game and ride rules, and easy access to staff members in case of a concern or problem.
Sharing the parking lot with the Carnival on Saturday, May 17th will be the Lake Cities Car Show. The Car Show will take place from 10 am – 4 pm. Prizes for 1st through 3rd place of each category and best of show will be awarded. Vehicle entries are just $15 and all proceeds from the event go to the Lake Dallas Kids n’ Cops Program. Those interested in entering the car show can pre-register or receive more information by calling Tony Snider at 940-321-3214.
