North Texas nonprofit Score A Goal In The Classroom will host a benefit concert Saturday, May 24th at the Fort Worth Stockyards Station, Back Forty. The event is from 7 p.m. until midnight. It includes live music from Professor D, a nationally acclaimed band with local roots; free food; a cash bar; and a silent auction featuring signed sports memorabilia, spa certificates, dinning opportunities and more. Tickets will be available at the door for $20 per person or $30 per couple. Event parking will be off of northeast 23rd street.
In 2007 Score A Goal In The Classroom served approximately 540,000 students and educators in 39 public school districts and 35 private schools.
