Welcome and Festival of Ideas kickoff by Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert
Opening statement by Festival of Ideas “Ringmaster” Michael Beschloss
During this opening session, each keynote guest will give a brief statement about THE FUTURE OF his or her topic, and then the Ringmaster will get the interaction started among both guests and Dallas panelists, the object being a many-faceted conversation centered around the festival theme.
This Festival will have an urban emphasis with potential for spin-off as you explore the theme for the day: "The Future Of..." Here are the topics, featured guests, and Dallas panelists:
