In pursuit of life, liberty and happiness, 13 American colonies struggle to become one country. The delegates of the second Continental Congress often disagreed on most every issue, but somehow managed to pull together to form a more perfect union. This clever musical tells the story of the events leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Perhaps not entirely historically accurate, this work does bring the colorful personalities and dramatic events surrounding our nation's birth to joyful life.
