Description

Sri Sathya Sai Baba widely acclaimed and loved spiritual leader of India initiated the 24-hour continuous singing (Akhand Bhajans) of devotional songs, throughout the world in the second week of November each year. The purpose of this spiritual exercise is to promote world peace and lessen discordant vibrations. This year on the second Saturday-Sunday in November (i.e. Nov 8 – 9), devotional singing is conducted continuously for 24 hours at all Sathya Sai Baba Centers on a global level praying for peace, harmony and bliss to all mankind. Given the present state of world unrest and economy such devotional singing this year is considered significant. Sathya Sai Baba Center of Dallas is conducting the devotional singing this year. The unique feature of this year’s devotional singing is the blending of the services of Community Unitarian Universalist Church and other faiths in to the devotional singing session. All those interested to join and stay for any length of time are cordially invited.
