Lone Star Film Festival - Let the Right One In

Run time: 114 min. | Sweden | Language: Swedish with English subtitles

Oskar, a fragile 12-year-old boy, regularly bullied by his classmates befriends a peculiar girl, Eli, who moves in next door. A series of disappearances and macabre murders coincide with her arrival —a man is found strung up in a tree, another frozen in the lake, a woman bitten in the neck. Captivated by her eccentric ways, Oskar soon figures out that Eli is the vampire responsible for the gruesome murders around town. Nevertheless, their friendship strengthens, and a subtle romance blooms. In spite of their loyalty to each other, Eli can only survive if she keeps moving. But when Oskar faces his darkest hour, Eli returns to defend him the only way she can.
