Lone Star Film Festival - A Quiet Little Marriage
November 14, 2008
, 2008
Run time: 90 min. | USA
As we watch the hairline fracture in Olive and Dax’s perfect marriage grow bigger and more visible, we go their quietly. Amidst the unspoken shadows that threaten to cave in their world is the baby question. She didn’t believe that he didn’t want to bring children into this cruel world and he thought she felt the same as him. How did they miss that? A life filled with the distractions of excellent sex, dinner parties, and living together in almost perfect harmony. There’s not much yelling in their marital divide but that doesn’t make the events of A Quiet Little Marriage any less devastating.
