Dallas Cinemania presents - The Holy Mountain
November 20, 2008
, 2008
The Holy Mountain (1973), Alejandro Jodorowsky's psychedelic follow-up to his seminal El Topo, is a mind-blowing, almost indescribable mix of fantasy, religious symbolism, horror and humor. Detailing the surreal adventures of a thief and his encounter with a mystical guide in a quest for immortality. If you're a fan of Fellini, Bunuel or David Lynch and you've never seen this film, RUN DON'T WALK to the Angelika November 20th! If you've seen it in the great Jodorowsky DVD box set, come out and experience it on the big screen in a brand new 35mm print making its first appearance in Dallas.
Come early for a special DJ Set from Wanz Dover before the film and some vintage 35mm trailers.
Tickets are $8 (cash only) at the door.
