Vision
November 22, 2008
Have you ever wondered why an artist looks at the world in a certain way? What drives them to create a particular work?
Vision is a new gallery experience hanging at the Mokah Art Gallery in Deep Ellum. The show is curated by artlovemagic's founder Michael Lagocki and includes over 20 local artists (many who you've seen at our shows).
Each artist in the show was asked to submit work that revolved around a personal core theme. Among those chosen were universal concepts like Innocence, Love, Commitment, and Truth.
Hanging next to each piece in the show is an artists' statement, describing why they chose their themes and why they created the work.Together, these works, these themes, create a full Vision.
