Description
On Target For A Cure was created because two Dallas women are relentless for a cure for leukemia. Kathi Shuford and Maura Costello came together after the loss of a dear friend and grandmother respectively to leukemia to create this event.
The 2008 three-day event kicks-off Thursday, October 2nd, with a “not-to-be-missed” Sporting Party and Live auction which last year included exotic hunting excursions, trips around the world, and fine luxury items.
The afternoon of Friday, October 3rd is Gold Day at the Elm Fork Sporting Clays Course open to top level sponsors and guests to gather for a practice day and socializing. Saturday, October 4th is the official tournament day at Elm Fork, which welcomes shooters of all ability levels to complete in a challenging 12-station, 100 target sporting clays course. Always a fun category is the “Sporting with my Kid” category where a parent and child create a team and compete together.
Event sponsorships are available starting at $3,000. For registration, call 972-354-8300 or email tina.garcia@lls.org
