The Toyota U.S. Open Triathlon consists of 2 different race distances; an Olympic distance (1500m swim, 40k bike, 10k run) and a Sprint distance (800m swim, 27k bike, 5k run). The race will start in Joe Pool Lake with a quick point to point swim, all Olympic athletes will then complete a scenic point to point 40k bike and Sprint athletes will complete a 27K bike from Cedar Hill back to the Cedar Hill State Park Marina and finish with either a one or two loop run ending at the peninsula where the swim beach and pavilion are located. All athletes will follow the same course as part of either the Elite Race, Elite Age Group Championship or the Age Group Race.
