This series charts the birth and evolution of Impressionism by focusing on its most important practitioners. Individual programs delve into the careers of the so-called "Post-Impressionists," whose bold experiments would usher in the next transformative phase in European art. This program is offered in conjunction with the exhibition The Impressionists: Master Paintings from the Art Institute of Chicago.
