An American in China: Reflections on Literacy and Cultural Studies in the People’s Republic of China

A public lecture by Professor J. Hillis Miller. Prolific author, editor and speaker, J. Hillis Miller is one of the great literary critics of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Admission is free; Jonsson Performance Hall is near Drive C on the UT Dallas campus.
Professor Hillis Miller will also lead a forum on “The Future of Literature and Literary Theory” at 4 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 23 at the Visual Arts Building.
