Singapore Slingers Swanky Serenade
October 25, 2008
The night will include live music by the 16-piece retro foxtrot orchestra, the Singapore Slingers. Banjos, accordions, tubas, and strings, combine to recreate the sounds from the days of vaudeville. After the performance, three classic silent short comedies by silver screen legends, Chaplin, Keaton, and Lloyd, will be shown along with piano accompaniment by the inimitable Robert Edwards.
