Damn! Didn't notice this until a little while ago.

Going to see them based on this video alone.

Likely Story was pretty good - female lead singer, guitars, etc. I liked it, but wouldn't show up specifically to see them play.

I wasn't a big fan of The Feds - their whole set sounded like one big extended song, just a wall of noise. Maybe I'm getting old, but I wasn't impressed.

Ludo was pretty entertaining, but not as good as I hoped. Damn you, singles and awesome music videos for raising my expectations!

Also, I hate the House of Blues. Tickets aren't bad, but the parking and drink prices are expensive as hell. $10 to park in a huge, empty parking lot? I wish I had more coins, I'd have parked at a meter. And $6 for a vodka tonic, and $8 for a whiskey and coke? Were they filtered through the Shroud of Turin or something?

Laurie Anderson Laurie Anderson is indescribably delicious. She's hitting McFarlin tonight with her new show, Homeland, and you can bet it will contain intellectual stimulation and pure unadulterated weirdness in equal measure. An album will follow the Homeland tour in 2009. More info
