I've sent out an email for more info, but for now here's a description from Salim Nourallah's MySpace (no lineup, unfortunately):
"September 3rd is the 1 year anniversary of Carter Albrecht's death - we have not forgotten...proceeds go to the Anju Gill foundation (we have not forgotten Anju either!)
"ABOUT ANJU GILL: Over two years ago our community lost a dear friend by the name of Anju Gill. If you ever had the opportunity to meet her, it's certain that you remember her warm smile and beautiful spirit. She was an endless source of support and inspiration not only for Bend Studio and the artists who played there, but also for the independent music and the arts community in Dallas. She loved art and music, it was an essential part of her life, and she was an active participant in it, investing herself in the musicians and the venues that she frequented. We will always be thankful to have called Anju a friend, to have had the chance to know someone with such kindness and wonderful creativity. To remember and honor her, we are pleased to announce the creation of the Anju Gill Foundation, which will preserve and perpetuate Anju's love and support of the local music scene and the artists who contribute to it in her name."
