Dennis Wilson once said the music is the star of show, not the Beach Boys themselves, but I gotta' tell you, this current outfit is only The Beach Boys in name only, a soulless uncreative jukebox. Kind of a waste of The Meyerson's and the DSO's time. Wake me up when the Meyerson and the DSO host Brian Wilson or Jeff Lynne.

Beach Boys debate aside, Kevin, when you said Jeff Lynne, you said something.
A couple years ago, there was a full on ELO reunion that didn't last past the first couple dates and didn't make it here. Man was I bummed.

I saw Brian Wilson solo a few years back. I thought it was pretty good, all things considered. Look, Brian Wilson is a broken man but he's got the gift and he still sounded pretty solid. Fortunately, he has a great backing band.
I'd probably pay $100 to hear him and the DSO do "God Only Knows".
Seeing ELO with Lynne would be pretty crucial, too.
