A FREE event for 8th and 9th grade students and their parent or caregiver, it will feature motivational speaker and author Stedman Graham with his "Nine Step Plan for Success"; a luncheon panel moderated by Microsoft's Raamel Mitchell with ESPN Commentator and WNBA star Nancy Lieberman, DISD administrator Dr. Liliana Valadez and others; afternoon workshops for students and parents; exhibitors; door prizes; and a mini-concert -- all to encourage and inspire students to stay in school. Lunch will be provided to participants.
