The 2008 Dallas Walk from Obesity presented by Medical City Dallas Hospital is a one–mile walk designed to bring together Dallas-area residents who are affected by obesity and draw attention to the need for awareness, treatment and advocacy initiatives to fight the obesity epidemic.
The funds raised from the North Dallas Walk from Obesity will benefit the non-profit organization Obesity Action Coalition and the non-profit foundation of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery.
