2008 Jazz by the Boulevard

The Jazz by the Boulevard festival is a fundraiser to preserve and beautify the Camp Bowie district; and to educate and expose public to cultural district’s historical architecture and eclectic variety of museums, shops and restaurants, as well as, significant points of interest.
Enjoy two stages of continuous jazz music and performances by Buddy Guy, The David Sanborn Group, Lee Ritenour and Randy Brecker; previous national headliners include: George Duke, Marcia Ball, Arturo Sandoval, David 'Fathead' Newman, Branford Marsalis, Chuck Mangione, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Spyro Gyra, Poncho Sanchez, Dewey Redman, and Yellowjackets.
Cooking Carnivalè pavilion with wine seminars, specialty food vendors, and cooking demonstrations and samplings by top area chefs.
Professional art and fine craft showcase of specially selected artisans.
Cultural/Heritage Exhibits including jazz archives memorabilia, photo, art, and video documentaries on legendary Fort Worth jazz musicians.
Park Cities Bank Children’s Area with Musical Instrument Petting Zoo, Fort Worth Library book walk and free arts and crafts activities.
'TASTE Camp Bowie' menu items from the district’s top restaurants—plus traditional 'jazz' fare including Barbecue, Cajun, Catfish and more.
