Children’s Cancer Fund will be the beneficiary of the closing day of the Southwest RV Supershow at the Dallas Convention Center. $1 of every ticket sold will go to Children’s Cancer Fund to help advance pediatric cancer research and treatment programs at Children’s Medical Center and UT Southwestern Medical Center. Attendees can also stop by the Children’s Cancer Fund booth to purchase raffle tickets to win a new RV with all proceeds going to the search for a cure for childhood cancer.
The event will feature: over 700 RVs; power sport vehicles including ATVs, golf carts, and scooters; over 150 family and outdoor vendors; daily seminars and demonstrations; a Kids’ Zone with kid-friendly vendors and a stingray and marine mammals exhibit; an obstacle course and family entertainment in the Children’s Cancer Fund booth; and appearances by fisherman Lance Vick (2008 Toyota Bass Classic Winner), the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Miss Dallas USA, Miss Teen USA, and Ed “Too Tall” Jones.
