Air Traffic Control: how safe is it?

The Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering department welcomes Dr. Yiyuan J. Zhao of the Department of Aerospace Engineering & Mechanics at the University of Minnesota, who will present information regarding the growth in air traffic in the national airspace, current aircraft separation requirements and the need to improve the efficiency of the air traffic control system while guaranteeing safety.
