Get ready to change your perception of advertising…not that you had any choice.
Eminent documentary filmmaker Doug Pray (Scratch, Surfwise, Hype!) explores the modern genesis of an influential and misunderstood industry that, not surprisingly, 77-percent of us find “evil.” This look inside the creative and operational process of advertising peels back the wrapper on some of the most successful campaigns of our time and profiles some of the industry’s living legends, who all tell us that the scariest thing about being creative is not knowing where their ideas come from and wondering if they’ll be there tomorrow.
It’s important to remember that good advertising has never been a science. It has always been art. And at the root of that art are good people who love what they do. Beautifully and imaginatively shot, this peek behind an industry that bombards every person with over 5,000 messages every day is well worth the price of a ticket and 86 minutes.
