Opening Reception - Transient Beauty
April 3
Transient Beauty, is reaching out to the community in honor of Autism Awareness Month (April) by featuring artwork by Autism Treatment Center's (ATC) children and adults with autism. Autism is a complex neurobiological disorder that typically lasts throughout a person's lifetime. It is part of a group of disorders known as autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Today, 1 in 150 individuals is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes, and AIDS combined.
Cerulean Gallery is donating 100% of the proceeds of the ATC artwork directly to ATC to help further assist people with autism and related disorders throughout their lives as they learn, play, work and live in the community. For more information about ATC go to www.atcoftexas.org.
