"Women Leading the Way: Go Green" is the theme for Tarrant County College's 8th Annual Women's Symposium. This is a free educational event featuring more than 45 exhibits, networking and entertainment. Open to the public. This is an interdisciplinary community event sponsored by South Campus Women's History Month Committee and Women In New Roles at South, Southeast and Northeast Campuses.

8:15 a.m. - Registration and Continental Breakfast

9 a.m. - Opening Session: "Green Innovation: A new way of doing something -- the myth, the reality, and the future." Carlos Antonio Rovelo, Board of Directors, the North Texas Corporate Recycling Council and professor of government at South Campus, will engage us in a multimedia presentation about the female way of innovation using myth, reality, and imagining the future.

10 a.m. - Exhibits and Networking

11 a.m. - General Session: "How Green is Fort Worth?" Kathleen Hicks, Mayor Pro Tem, City of Fort Worth.

Noon - Entertainment, Evaluations, and Door Prizes
