An exciting afternoon of hands-on activities, films, and lively performances awaits families at the Kimbell Art Museum’s Chase Family Festival.
Delight in the flowering of artistic traditions that celebrated love, marriage, and family during the Italian Renaissance. Highlights of this event include performances of early music by Armonia Celeste, an ensemble that features three exquisite female voices intertwining in trios and duets, accompanied by period instruments. Offered in conjunction with the special exhibition Art and Love in Renaissance Italy.
Admission to the Family Festival and Art and Love in Renaissance Italy is free on this day. Reservations are not required. This Family Festival is generously supported by Chase. Promotional support is provided by American Airlines and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
