The Game Engineering Conference (GEC) 2009 is an annual event held at The University of Texas at Dallas each spring. Hosted by student organizations, it is designed to bring together both Dallas-area high school and college students as well as the general public with game industry professionals in a day of speakers, presentations, and gaming tournaments.
Cost: $5 event admission fee (waived for UTD students with Comet Card)
10:30-12:00 Keynote Speaker: Eli Luna (Free for all attendees)
12:00-1:00 Lunch (included in admission fee)
1:00-4:15 Presentation Sessions Portfolio Review (1:00-4:00) Gaming Tournaments
4:15-8:00 Gaming Tournaments: Halo 3 2v2, Street Fighter 4 1v1, Super Smash Bros. Brawl 1v1
