Film Series: Exploring Italy: Renaissance Masters and Patrons

The Kimbell Art Museum presents the films “Renaissance Siena: Art for a City” and “First Light: Tuscany and the Dawn of the Renaissance—The City: Building Reputations” at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, in the Museum auditorium. The films are part of the Kimbell’s Exploring Italy: Renaissance Masters and Patrons film series. This free program is approximately an hour and a half.

The film series is offered in conjunction with the special exhibition Art and Love in Renaissance Italy. This cinematic tour of Italy’s cultural centers features the achievements of the Renaissance’s greatest artists and explores how leading families of the time nurtured their work.
