Dr. Joel Christensen, Assistant Professor of Classics at the University of Texas at San Antonio, will present a talk entitled, "Listening Between the Lines: Trojan Politics and the Assemblies of Iliad 7." The winner of the Douglas Carvey Prize for best student essay in Classical Studies will also be announced. Complimentary refreshments will be available after Dr. Christensen's talk, which is open to both the university community and the general public.
