Show got cancelled due to Technical Difficulties. At least that's what they announced at 10:30, causing quite a stir in the line that went back around the building, and wrapped around the parking lot all the way to the street.
I feel sorry for the dude from Tulsa. I mean, living in Tulsa is bad enough, but driving four hours and having a show get cancelled after two hours in line? It's like, you know god hates you. Now you just have to decide what to do about it.

I hate "pre-madonnas," too. Can't they just be regular madonnas?

It's a journeyman system. You have to apprentice under a real one for up to four years before getting your own gold lamé over-tight panties.

It's interesting that http://www.cannibalcheerleader.com/20... got the prima donna spelling right.
Anyway, it might be of interest to some people that Crystal Castles has been involved in various shady dealings before. Apparently they used some Creative Commons licensed music from Lowbat, proceeded to copyright the music, and then turned around and sued Lowbat for using their own music in their own songs. Or something. It's one of those things that I care about a lot in principle, but enough in practice to actually research.

Well, DC9 says they posted the e-mail "unedited as requested," so I'm guessing cannibalcheerleader edited it.

Anyway, here's hoping tonight's show at the Granada goes off without a hitch. TGub, you're coming out for this one, right?
