Fred Wiseman is regarded as one of the world’s greatest living documentary filmmakers. His large body of films, including Titicut Follies, High School and Domestic Violence, has garnered numerous honors including grants from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, a Guggenheim Fellowship, the George Polk Career Award, a Distinguished Achievement Award from the American Society of Cinematographers, and a Peabody Award for Significant and Meritorious Achievement.
