Meadows Percussion Ensemble

Under the direction of Jon Lee, the Meadows Percussion Ensemble will perform both new and traditional works running the gamut from intense and challenging to light and fun. The concert will feature Michael Daugherty’s Lex, an exciting work for percussion ensemble and electric violin from his renowned Superman Suite, with the violin representing Superman’s arch-enemy, Lex Luther, racing to avoid capture. Violin soloist will be acclaimed artist Oksana Sifri, Associate Concertmaster of the Richardson Symphony.
