Dallas Food & Wine Festival: Cinematic Feast
April 22
, 2009
Any day of the year you can go out to dinner and a movie - once a year you can have a Cinematic Feast - menu created for a special evening, pairing great cinema and fine wine and food. A special multi-course dinner menu prepared by nationally acclaimed chef Richard Chamberlain is followed by a private screening of Waitress.
Waitress is the 2007 comedy about Jenna, a small-town waitress stuck in a sleepy southern town with a miserable husband. She has big dreams, and finds happiness with her great talent for creating and making pies. The romantic story line sweeps you up, but even more enticing are the endless pies Jenna creates in the movie - Lonely Chicago Pie, Spanish Dancer Pie, Fallin’ in Love Pie.
Chef Chamberlain has accepted the challenge to roll out the dough.
