The Dot and the Line: A Romance in Lower Mathematics
April 24
The MWE concludes its season with a program that features Meadows School associate dean and professor of theatre Kevin Paul Hofeditz narrating a performance of The Dot and the Line: A Romance in Lower Mathematics by Dallas composer Robert Xavier Rodriguez. The Dot and the Line is the story of the love affair between an adventurous Dot and a rather straight Line, and involves a number of twists and turns before ending quite happily for both parties! The program will also include performances of John Adams’ Chamber Symphony and Darius Milhaud’s La Creation Du Monde.
