I maintain it's a venue for old white people.
I know, I know, great bands come through. I saw a few awesome metal shows there. But it's still the equivalent of safety scissors and a circle of paper.

Made me lol that the staff eventually just gave up on trying to prevent the pit. One of my favorite shirts became a casualty, well worth it though. Definitely revived my appreciation for HoB.
