Texas’ Next Top Designer Fall Collection Trunk Show

West Village and Texas' Next Top Designer are partnering up on August 22 from 12-6 p.m., as eight West Village boutiques feature creations by the 2009 Texas' Next Top Designer competition winner and top finalists'.

Guests will be given an exclusive opportunity to purchase womenswear, menswear, accessories, and handbags from the designers' Fall collections. Trunk shows will be hosted in West Village boutiques Assembly, Cowboy Cool, Epic Apparel, Glass Slipper, L. Bartlett, Mei Mei's Fashionette, Trousseau, and Via Pelle.

Trunk shows and boutiques:

• Trousseau fine lingerie boutique, will host the Sew Sisters, specialty lingerie collection by 2009 Texas Next Top Designer competition winner, Megan Summerville.

• Cowboy Cool, offering traditional western wear with a contemporary edge, will host Çarnce luxury handbags with modern shapes, innovative hardware, and exquisite attention to detail by designer Chance Jackson.

• Fashionably-fresh Epic Apparel featuring designer womenswear, will host the romantic, comfortable and feminine Casey Logan collection by designer and former Neiman Marcus Assistant Buyer, Casey Smith Logan of Austin.

• L. Bartlett, catering to the trendy and classy Dallas gal, will host bohemian jewelry from Jessica Sharp Designs created by local artist and jewelry designer Jessica Head.

• Glass Slipper, the sophisticated and chic shopper’s boutique, will feature the playful and fresh House of Dang collection designed by Doug Voisin and Andrew Bayer.

• Vibrant and girly Mei Mei’s Fashionette will host the fun and flirty Darian Thomas dress collection by Dallas designer Darian Thomas.

• Via Pelle, the destination for the discerning fashionista, will host the stunning dress collection, Cooper by Courtney, designed by local girl and Texas Tech Alumni, Courtney Warren-Slye.

Designers will be available during the August 22nd trunk shows to consult with customers on product, fit and coloring. Customers will also have the opportunity to purchase items in store, as well as pre-order any custom fit pieces.
