Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s Winter Series

The 2009 Season Opening Performance of Dallas Black Dance Theatre. Audiences will experience the preeminence of this spectacular repertory company of talented dancers as they perform the choreography of America’s masters of modern dance. The soul of the dance company will be painted across the stage as Dallas Black Dance Theatre performs Pigs and Fishes, the signature dance of Elisa Monte, Awassa Astrige/Ostrich, the dance of a warrior imitating the grace and power of the ostrich, king of the birds by Asadata Dafora and Camouflage by Ben Stevenson.
