Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat features the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and the lyrics of Tim Rice. The story, based on the Biblical Old Testament story of Joseph, is a lively spectacle of color with music ranging from calypso to cabaret and rock to rockabilly. Joseph's fortunes shift as he goes from shepherd to slave and on to being the right hand man of Pharaoh.
